Fairfield Lake State Park in Fairfield, TX is now allowing equestrian day use only. They have a 9 mile trail and a 3 mile trail (these trails are not loops) for multi-purpose use which includes equines. We have seen the trails and would be good riding trails, but the bigger carts/wagons might have a problem. Lots of trees, looks like a nice place to ride. Contact the park at (903) 389-4514.

Granger Lake Willis Creek Equestrian Trails are now open for use! This is an 8 mile trail for equestrians, hikers, and bikers; no motorized vehicles. The trails are wagon/cart friendly and there is primitive camping allowed (there are bathroom/shower facilities across the street). Granger Lake is located north of Taylor, TX.
